Shipping policy
Thank you for shopping with VELARÉ Fragrances. This Shipping Policy explains how orders are processed, shipped, and delivered.
1. Delivery Areas
VELARÉ Fragrances currently offers delivery within South Africa. Orders are delivered using trusted courier services where available.
2. Shipping Fee
A standard nationwide courier fee of R150 applies to orders delivered within South Africa, unless otherwise stated during checkout or as part of a promotion.
If local delivery or collection options are made available, the available shipping options and costs will be displayed at checkout.
3. Order Processing
Orders are processed only after payment has been successfully confirmed.
For EFT/manual bank transfer orders, customers must upload or send proof of payment before the order can be processed. The order number must be used as the payment reference to avoid delays.
Processing normally takes 1–2 business days, excluding weekends and public holidays.
4. Estimated Delivery Time
Once an order has been processed and handed over to the courier, delivery usually takes approximately:
1–5 business days, depending on the delivery location and courier availability.
Main city areas may receive parcels sooner, while outlying or rural areas may take longer.
5. Delivery Information
Customers must ensure that the correct delivery address, contact number, and email address are provided at checkout.
VELARÉ Fragrances will not be responsible for delays, failed deliveries, or additional courier charges caused by incorrect or incomplete delivery details supplied by the customer.
6. Courier Collection and Tracking
Once your order has been booked with the courier, you may receive tracking information by email, SMS, or WhatsApp where available.
Tracking updates are provided by the courier service and may take time to reflect after the waybill has been created.
7. Failed Delivery Attempts
If the courier is unable to deliver because the customer is unavailable, cannot be contacted, or provided incorrect details, the courier may attempt redelivery or return the parcel.
Additional delivery fees may apply if a parcel needs to be resent.
8. Damaged or Missing Parcels
If your parcel arrives damaged, please contact VELARÉ Fragrances as soon as possible with:
Your order number, clear photos of the damaged product, clear photos of the packaging, and a short explanation of the issue.
We will review the matter and assist accordingly.
9. Delays
VELARÉ Fragrances aims to dispatch orders as quickly as possible. However, delivery delays may occur due to courier delays, public holidays, high order volumes, incorrect customer details, weather conditions, or other circumstances beyond our control.
We will always try to assist customers with tracking and delivery updates where possible.
